How do I register for an account?

Do you charge a transactional fee?
No we don't charge a transactional fee. We may charge a higher margin on all transactions under £10,000.
How do I trade on the new platform?
Once registered, click 'Convert' on the sidebar or 'Conversion Manager' from the dashboard. Enter a 'Sell' and 'Buy' currency and the amount to convert. Then select the date you wish the currency to settle and click 'Get a Quote'. This will retrieve a quote to accept and proceed with.
How do I pay WhitesPay?
Once your deal has been booked via our online system, you will shortly after receive a confirmation email containing WhitesPay's account details. You will then need to transfer the required amount over to us. Once this is received, we exchange your currency and pay your beneficiary.
Should I 'Pay Now' or 'Pay Later'?
If the beneifciary for a particular payment is already setup, simply click 'Pay Now' to proceed with the trade. For all other beneficiaries, which aren't currently setup, click 'Pay Later'.
How do I add a beneficiary?
Adding a beneficiary is simple. Click 'Beneficiary' on the sidebar, then 'Add Beneficiary' and enter the details as outlined on screen. It is essential that all details are submitted correctly to avoid any delayed or rejected payments.
When will my beneficiary receive payment?
If you process a trade and send us cleared funds by midday we will process it and send the money to the recipient’s bank by 6 pm (UK TIME), guaranteed. The recipient's bank may delay processing the money into the recipient’s actual bank account by 1-3 business days, this is out of our control.
How do I amend my recipient details?
Please contact us on +44 333 920 5920 if you wish to amends any beneciary details.
How do I pay a beneficiary?
Click 'Pay' on the sidebar. Then select the currency you wish to send and the amount (available funds are displayed at the top of the page). Use the dropdown to select a beneficiary you have previously setup to receive that particular currency. Complete the remaining details and then click 'Make Payment'. Please note 'Payment Reason' must be exact as specifying as e.g. 'trade' or 'bill' isn't sufficient for compliance purposes and your payment may be rejected.
How do I know if WhitesPay has sent my money?
Once WhitesPay has sent your chosen currency, we will notify you via email to confirm the transfer.
Can I cancel my transaction?
Every transaction we deal with is unique and needs discussing on an individual basis. Please call us on +44 333 920 5920 and one of our Account Managers will be happy to discuss your options.
What to do if my payment hasn't arrived?
In the unlikely event your payment has not arrived, please call us on +44 333 920 5920.
Can I buy travel money or cash from you?
No, we do not sell travel money or cash at the moment.
Is my money safe with you? Are you regulated?
When you send money to us we hold it in secure and segregated client accounts, much like a solicitor. These accounts are with major banks and are subject to strict rules around holding client funds. WhitesPay (WTUK Limited) is authorised and regulated by the FCA under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011.
How do you make money?
In order to offer competitive rates and still operate as a profitable business, we understand the importance of streamlining the traditional FX model. By buying at the mid-market rate and securing fewer overheads, we are able to take smaller margins and sell at a competitive rate - something the banks and brokers are not able to replicate.
Can I fix an exchange rate for a future date?
Yes, you can hold a rate for up to a year. We will ask for an initial deposit depending on how far forward you wish to book and then the remaining balance will be required upon settlement of the deal. For further information please call one our Trading Managers on +44 333 920 5920.
